Beautiful window dressings will completely transform a room if they are professionally made and fitted.

When comparing prices it’s important to know exactly what you are getting for your money. The essential difference with our workmanship is what you don’t see. All of Honeysuckle’s curtains are expertly hand made and fitted by professionals. They are always lined or interlined with quality sateen lining as standard, locked in on the seams and half width, with hand mitred and weighted corners. Pencil pleat headings have cord tidy bags to neaten away heading strings and all buckram headings are sewn in by hand. All quotations are split into Materials and Make-up including fitting and tracks/poles. From receipt of fabric our turnaround is between four and six weeks.

From concept to completion you are in safe hands. A member of the design team will ensure your project is seen through all stages of the process from ordering and checking of the fabrics, to cutting and making up. Finally your curtains are dressed, pressed and fitted by the design and fitting team.

With over 20 years experience Honeysuckle have made and fitted thousands of window treatments and offer a consultancy service to help you choose a style that’s right for you. They include curtains, pelmets, valances, tie backs, swags and tails, Roman / Austrian / Swedish / London / Venetian blinds, roller blinds, Lambrequins.

Blinds

With their clean, sophisticated lines Roman blinds are one of the most stylish ways to dress your window.

A Roman blind is a blind without any gathers, that forms soft pleats when raised and falls completely flat when lowered. In its simplest form, it is attached to a wooden batten at the top and the pleats are kept in place by wooden dowels or slats that are sewn into casings on the lining. A cording mechanism that comprises of a series of eyelets in the underside of the batten, works in conjunction with and is attached to the dowel rods or slats on the reverse of the blind enables, this allows the blind to be raised and lowered. Roman blinds can also be fitted to rotary side winding mechanisms for ease of use.

Our Roman blinds are beautifully hand crafted, have hand sewn side seams and bottom hems and no discernible stitching showing on the face.

We are member of The British Blind and Shutter Association. Our Roman Blinds are compliant with the 2014 child safety requirements of BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014.
